“The Canadian public don’t care about the manoeuvres in Parliament and the wording of various motions. The Canadian public care about their economic well-being and the standing of our country in the world.”

TABLE OF OFFENCES

CANADA ELECTIONS ACT

http://www.elections.ca/res/loi/his/2000/TabOffences_e.pdf

On March 21, 2011 a House of Commons committee ruled that the Harper government was in contempt of Parliament — an offense against the authority or dignity of Parliament, including disobedience to its commands or libel against it or its Members. Punishment for such an offense may take a variety of forms, up to and including imprisonment.

On March 25, 2011 the finding of contempt led to a motion of non-confidence introduced by Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff. The NDP and BQ supported them, which resulted in the adjournment of the 40th Parliament of Canada, and made Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government the first to fall on a charge of contempt of Parliament.

Any disregard of or attack on the rights, powers and immunities of the House and its Members, either by an outside person or body, or by a Member of the House, is referred to as a “breach of privilege” and is punishable by the House. There are, however, other affronts against the dignity and authority of Parliament which may not fall within one of the specifically defined privileges. Thus, the House also claims the right to punish, as a contempt, any action which, though not a breach of a specific privilege, tends to obstruct or impede the House in the performance of its functions; obstructs or impedes any Member or Officer of the House in the discharge of their duties; or is an offence against the authority or dignity of the House, such as disobedience of its legitimate commands or libels upon itself, its Members, or its Officers.

Harper Lies About Canada-U.S. Border Deal

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVi1ERORD1E

Stephen Harper Has Single Handedly Redefined The Word Sovereignty To Mean “Enlightened Sovereignty” Which Is Why He Can Say The Following…

“A new Canada-U.S. agreement on border security won’t jeopardize Canadian sovereignty”

This not simply about the free flow movement of goods and people across our borders, they don’t need any “new deal” for that as we already have many “trusted traveler programs” in place and running that people haven’t even begun to really take advantage of yet. Programs like the NEXUS lanes at the borders and in our airports that allows people willing to submit to background checks to cross the border and board a plane much faster. The fact that these programs already being promoted by government are not yet running at 100% capacity or expanding demonstrates that there is a limited demand for this type of service.. regardless, our government seeks to use us as their excuse, in the name of making it easier for Canadians to access the United States.

Make no mistake, this is not about making anything easier for us! Its about making it easier for corporations that operate out of both Canada, United States and Mexico and hold very little thought on the sovereignty and independence of any of their host nations. An Independent and sovereign Canada is not in their business model but rather a trade barrier that must be overcome.

In order to thin the borders, remove “red tape”, allow for shipments to go from Mexico all the way into Canada without having to stop for multiple inspections, they are willing to tell American and Canadian Citizens that they must be Bio-metrically Tracked In Real Time.

This Is Not A North American Community.. This Is Fortress North America!
This is a direct threat to national sovereignty. The definition of sovereignty is the ability a nation to act on its own accord, to do whats in the best interest of that country, the right of self determination. I would like to ask the government, how do we maintain national sovereignty when we sign an international treaty obligating us to act in accordance with that agreement? Obligated once signed under law no longer simply MOU’s and discussions.
By very definition this is an erosion of our sovereignty, our ability to act in the best interest of Canada in future situations that may effect us differently from the United States, possibly due to our differences in foreign policy.

For Example Cuba.. Canada has no problems dealing with Cuba, the United States Does.. With A Common Security Perimeter, How Does The U.S. Protect Itself From Imports Into Canada from Cuba..

With A Common Security Perimeter around North America and the thin internal borders where trucks are allowed to go from Mexico into the United States and then all the way up into Canada unchecked, in a time when our leaders proclaim we must strengthen security doesn’t make any logical sense at all.

Perhaps our interpretation of the common security perimeter in Canada and the U.S. is followed a little more closely then our Mexican “partners” or due to corruption in Mexico.. dangerous goods or people are able to enter from the south.. then can now simply go unchecked all the way up through the states.. possibly stopping to pick up more dangerous things or people then keep on a trucking straight up into Canada is a very scary proposition!

Finally, let us not forget 9/11 was based on lies! Even the 911 commission themselves admits the review was a scam! We are now going to give up our sovereignty in order to better protect ourselves from a pack of lies?
Where is the threat? A failed Diaper Bomber? A bunch of fake printer bombs? A Firecracker In A Shoe? Our Prime Minister And The President of the United States sit down on a very frequent basis with other world leaders via the G8/G20 and United Nations. The world biggest nations are all participating.. Are We Under Threat By Any Of These Leaders? We Sit Down Next To Them At The Big Tables.. There Is No Threat!

The only threat remaining is our sovereignty, Constitution, freedoms and independence which all stand in their way of their North American consolidation agenda. This is not a “theory”. The President of Mexico and the Prime Minister of Canada in the summer of 2010 called for the Consolidation of North American right from the floor of the house on national television!

Its Time For Canadian and American Citizens To Stand Up And Demand Our Governments Cease And Desist Immediately!

Harper’s Rhetoric
2006/06/05
From CBC’s the hour: http://www.cbc.ca/thehour/

Okay, I wanna close up the show with a last thought about the alleged plot to carry out attacks in Ontario. I know when I heard about it Saturday morning, my first thought was…concern. And, without being dramatic or hysterical about it, what our political leaders have to say in response to revelations like this, is important.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said they hate our freedom. Maybe, but it’s a little more complicated than that. Don’t treat us like we’re 6 years old. Talk to us like you believe we’re mature adults, so we can make decisions like mature adults.
Security is a major concern for everyone, but if this kind of rhetoric catches on, we could lose a lot more than our safety.
It’s the start of a slide into racial and religious prejudice.
We don’t need soundbites, or over-simplified headlines. Mr. Harper, you set the tone for what happens next. Choose carefully what words and direction you choose.
That’s time.

*tells the truth to conservatives but not to all Canadians*

Majority government in reach: Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper believes a majority government “is in reach” for the Conservative party the next time Canadians go to the polls for a federal election.

In candid remarks made last week to Conservative supporters in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., at a meeting that was closed to the media, Harper stressed the need for the party to capture a majority.

“Let me be clear about this, we need to win a majority in the next election campaign,” Harper said. “I am not just saying that because we need to win a few more seats.”

He said that if the Conservatives don’t succeed in getting a majority he predicted the Liberals will govern in a coalition with the NDP and the Bloc Québécois.

“If they get together and force us to the polls, we have to teach them a lesson and get back there with a majority, and make sure their little coalition never happens,” said Harper.

Harper’s speech was videotaped by someone in the audience and a copy of the address was sent to the Liberal Party of Canada, which sent it to CBC News. The Liberals claim the tape shows that Harper doesn’t want to work with the other parties in Parliament and therefore justifies Liberal Party Leader Michael Ignatieff’s threat to force an election.

Publicly, the Conservatives have said it will be irresponsible of the opposition parties to bring down the government and send Canadians back to the polls.

The Liberals have said they will try to bring down the Conservative minority government at the first opportunity.

Parliament resumes Sept. 14, and the Liberals will have their first opportunity to present a no-confidence motion on Oct. 1.

Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe said earlier this week an election appears to be inevitable.

“Mr. Ignatieff doesn’t seem to look like he’s going to back down, and Mr. Harper is not the kind of man who makes compromises or who achieves consensus so I think the chances of an election are great — more than great,” Duceppe said.

The Liberals and the Bloc Québécois have both released a round of election-style advertisements.

Muslim Response To Stephen Harper’s Statement “Islamicism” biggest threat to Canada | Website: http://justmediawatch.com According to Harper “Islamicism” is the biggest threat to Canada, really ? Islamicism cannot be the biggest threat to any country simply because the word islamicism itself does not belong to the English language. Harper used islamicism to play the politics of fear with the people of Canada, it’s nothing but fear mongering.

When do you draw the line ?

“Islamicism biggest threat to Canada”
Islamicism
Islamofacism
“Islamic Terrorism”
“Stephen Harper”
“War on Terror”
“Stephen Harper and Islam”
“Fear mongering”
“Tarek Fatah”
“Tarek Feteh”
“Racism in Canada”

In an exclusive interview with CBC News, Prime Minister Stephen Harper says the biggest security threat to Canada a decade after 9/11 is Islamic terrorism.

In a wide-ranging interview with CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge that will air in its entirety on The National Thursday night, Harper says Canada is safer than it was on Sept. 11, 2001 but that “the major threat is still Islamicism.”

Texas to Canada: Harper’s Crime Bill a huge mistake

Uploaded by  on 22 Oct 2011

http://www.leadnow.ca/keep-canada-safe – CBC reports from Texas where even tough-on-crime Republicans are telling Canada not to follow America’s failed path of mandatory sentences and massive prison expansion, which cost billions and drove crime rates up.

Our Conservative government’s Crime Bill is about the worst possible approach to justice imaginable. It copies the utterly failed war on crime that cost the USA billions and has only made things far worse. Mega prisons, massive criminalization of the poor, youth, and those who we should be helping not jailing. It will seriously hurt society, and is a completely un-Canadian approach.

Act Now to stop the cruel Crime Bill! Send a message directly to Justice Minister Rob Nicholson and your MP here:
